Responsible play
Keeping the game in proportion
No money moves through this site, but time and attention are real. Here is how we think about keeping free play healthy.
Access is restricted to players aged 18 and over. Fantasy Cricket World is a free social casino for entertainment purposes only. It involves no real-money wagering, sells nothing, and offers no opportunity to win real money, prizes, or anything else of value.
What a social casino is
A social casino recreates the shape of casino play without any of its financial consequences. The coins at The Ninth Table are generated by your browser for the length of a visit. They cannot be purchased, cannot be exchanged between players, and cannot leave the page. When you close the tab, they are gone; when you return, you start again at the same figure as everybody else.
That distinction matters, and it cuts both ways. There is nothing to lose here — and equally, nothing to win. Success at this table is not practice for succeeding at a real one, and a good run of hands here says nothing about how a comparable session elsewhere would go.
Free play is not practice for paid play
Simulated odds and real ones behave the same way over thousands of hands, but a short session can look wildly favourable purely by chance. Treating a good evening here as evidence of skill, system, or luck that would transfer to real-money gambling is the single most common misreading of games like this one. It does not transfer. Every round at this table is independent, and the game has no memory of the one before it.
Practical habits
- Decide how long before you start. A stopping point chosen in advance is much easier to honour than one negotiated mid-session.
- Break the hour. Stand up, look at something further than an arm's length away, and let the table sit. It will still be there.
- Watch for chasing. If you find yourself resetting the balance to undo a run of losses that cost you nothing, the impulse is worth noticing — it is the same one that becomes expensive in games where the coins are real.
- Notice your reasons. Play that has become a way to avoid boredom, stress, or sleep has stopped being entertainment, whatever its cost.
- Keep it out of the way of the rest of your life. If work, study, sleep, or the people around you are being displaced, step back from the table.
Protecting younger household members
This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we knowingly collect nothing from minors. If children share your device, parental control software and supervised browsing profiles are the practical tools; most operating systems and browsers include content filtering that can restrict gambling-themed sites regardless of whether money is involved.
If free play stops feeling free
Concern about gambling habits — including habits that begin with games where nothing is staked — is worth taking seriously and worth discussing with somebody. We serve visitors worldwide and so do not point to any single national service; the appropriate support differs from place to place. A local health service, a doctor, or a recognised support organisation operating in your own country is the right starting point, and most can be found through a search for gambling support alongside your region.
If you would prefer not to have access to this site, the simplest measure is a browser or network-level block on the domain. We are happy to answer questions about that through support.
